When i was Growing up in Brooklyn all my mom and dad would play was Bob Marley and Erykah Badu. Im surprised i didnt spend the rest of my time smoking weed and writing poetry. We had a pet praying mantis, a garden in our window where some strange fruit would grow, and a big canvas rolled out on the wall for my dad to work on his paintings. My dad had long ass dreads and my mom had an afro....
